Western Digital Black 2TB Review
With the ever present emergence of high performance storage solutions on the market, SSDs have been sitting top of the tree pretty comfortably when it comes to performance but sometimes the £/GB ratio is somewhat expensive to some. So with that being said, there haven’t really been too many options on the market which combine the best of both worlds.
Well Western Digital who are one of the biggest manufacturers and also the most popular brands in terms of storage on the planet. With a wide variety of options available for many different needs/uses, today I will be taking a look which is geared towards the maximum possible performance. Yes, I am talking about the WD Black which is available in 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, 3TB and 4TB varieties but today I will be taking a look at the 2TB version.
With a much better £/GB ratio than any SSD currently on the market, can the Western Digital Black 2TB keep flying the flag for mechanical HDDs or are SSDs just too far ahead in terms of performance? I intend to find out, but first let’s take a look at the specifications…
