Phanteks PH-TC14S and PH-TC12LS CPU Coolers Review 31

[section_title title=”Introduction”]

Introduction

Phanteks was established in 2007 with the goal of bringing high-end and innovative products into the thermal solutions side of the PC hardware industry.  Based in the Netherlands, Phanteks has a great team of creative researchers, designers and developers to help think of innovation and bring it to life. Those familiar with Phanteks will associate them with top of the line CPU coolers and even PC Cases. The Enthoo line of cases are some of the most sought-after cases on the market to this day and their different variants of the PH-TC14 and PH-TC12 coolers are well down for their amazing design and performance. 2015 shows no signs of Phanteks slowing down as they have already announced new products.

Today I will be taking a look at not one, but two of their newest CPU coolers by way of the PH-TC14S and PH-TC12LS. Both of the heatsinks feature a black fin array and the TC14S is a taller tower cooler where the TC12Ls is a top-down cooler designated to fit in smaller areas where space may be tight. Both coolers are compatible with a wide range of AMD and Intel CPU sockets, including Intel’s 1150 and 2011-3 sockets and both, of course, come with a high static pressure PWM fan to help dissipate the heat as quickly as possible.

Before we get into the closer look, let’s have a look at the technical specifications for each cooler:
