Archos will be a name some of you will be familiar with be due to our own recent reviews of their products as well as the name they’ve built up for themselves the past few years for providing compelling products without a questionable cost. The Archos 79 Xenon (Xenon) looks to keep on track with this mantra and is aimed straight at the 8″ tablet market currently absorbed by the Galaxy Tab 3 and Nexus 7.

Whilst Archos can’t compete on brand-name and features alone, they are looking to add that bit extra, namely, with the inclusion of 3G support, an IPS screen and SD card slot.
