[section_title title=”Introduction”]Introduction

Lian Li are one of the largest manufacturers in Taiwan to produce full aluminium cases and are considered one of the more elegant and higher class chassis brands on the market.  Lian Li was founded in 1983 and currently resides its HQ in Keelung, Taiwan in the Liu-Ti Industrial park.  They even have ISO 9001 certification for all of their products which essentially means they are the bee’s knees.  With 20+ years at great heights in the industry, they are respected by their peers for being one of the go to companies when looking for a full aluminium tower and their research & development team make sure their options cater to consumers so they have what they are looking for.

Following on from our previous Lian Li PC-Q35 M-ITX case review, I will be taking a look at their latest ATX mid tower offering in the way of the PC-A61 in black.  It of course features a full solid aluminium body, features support for full length graphics cards (up to 280mm) and comes pre-installed with 3 x 120mm fans (2 x 120mm in the front and 1 x 120mm at the rear).  Is this the premium chassis you were looking for?  Or are Lian Li’s becoming out-dated with every passing year?  Well let’s crack on with the review, starting with the specifications…

What overclockers UK have to say about the Lian Li PC-A61B chassis:

Lian Li have done it again! Made a beautiful chassis which aims to please. The contoured lines and sleek finish gives this case an air of pure class.
