I expect most of you would have heard of the “2016 flagship killer” OnePlus Two. The bang for buck mobile phone was released in August this year, with all the promise of a flagship phone without the expensive price tag.
With the top end model featuring a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 13 Megapixel camera with 4K recording, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 5.5 inch 1080p screen all for £289 it seems just too good to be true! So what’s the catch?
The catch so far is that the Oneplus Two has continued the tradition left by the Oneplus One of being a very exclusive invite only affair. This was up until yesterday when OnePlus announced its plans for their website to allow invite free purchases for one hour only!
The big event is due to take place on Monday 12th October at 12pm, with different time slots allocated to each time zone. These are as follows: Asia: 12:00-13:00 HKT, Europe: 12:00-13:00 CEST, North America: 12:00-1:00 pm PDT.
Please remember that you can only purchase invite-free during your region’s time slot. The UK is one hour ahead of CEST and you should be waiting with anticipation at 11am on Monday morning.
I myself have been waiting for an invite for months and could not believe it when the email popped up in my inbox. I just can’t wait to get my hands on one!
