Today, the Battlefield 4 Exclusive Beta Begins. I for one have been looking forward to it since it was announced and it’s looking to be an awesome ten days of fps gameplay. Who else is going to be playing the Beta? And don’t forget to tell us what you think in the comments. Is it going to be a success or will it be a failure? At the time of writing this I have personally only played a single round. The Beta will be two modes as shown at Eurogamer Expo Domination and Conquest. Both modes take place of Siege of Shanghai Map.
On October 1, the Battlefield 4 Exclusive Beta goes live for eligible players. This is followed on October 4-15 by the Open Beta available to all players on PC, X360, and PS3.*
The Beta and Official Release will be 64bit Only. This is something that is rarely seen from any video game and it is mostly intensive software that has both 32 and 64bit. Battlefield 4 will be completely 64bit only, this will cause a few problems for those that have yet to change to 64bit OS.
Some people might suggest that this is to force people to upgrade but frankly this is a necessity, and shows that game developers are listening and the ability to use more memory is a fantastic idea.
